Logtalk 3.16.0 Stable

Post by Paulo Moura » Tue Apr 24, 2018 3:47 pm

Hi,

Logtalk 3.16.0 is now available for downloading at:

http://logtalk.org/

This release improves support for embedding Logtalk and Logtalk applications, including in saved states and executables; adds new lint flags for more fine-grained control of compiler warnings; changes all exception context arguments for runtime errors to always including the execution context, thus providing extended information in case of error; compiles calls to most Logtalk built-in predicates to improve compile time type-checking when the arguments are sufficiently instantiated and to return the actual execution context in case of runtime error; improves the embedding helper scripts for selected backend compilers; adds new type definitions; adds sample configuration setup for running parallel Logtalk processes for selected backend compilers; includes new and improved unit tests; provides portability updates for ECLiPSe, GNU Prolog, Lean Prolog, and SICStus Prolog; plus other improvements and fixes to the documentation, compiler, library, tools, examples, and installers. For details and a complete list of changes, please consult the release notes at:

Happy logtalking!
